It's incredibly brave of you to make a flight game with only one button input, but I think you did quite well given the limitation. Maybe a (very short!) tutorial at the start would help get over the initial frustration that all your plane does at the beginning is fly around in stupid circles. I have to admit I almost quit because I thought the game was broken, although I figured it out pretty quickly.

Nice game!

RowanFuture responds:

that is very fair honestly, I probably should add a tutorial that makes the controls clear

The art is pretty good but these hitboxes are absolutely ridiculous.

notarobot1126 responds:

Look were fixing it!

fe3l1ngsk1lledd responds:

I wasn't too good to make a great hitbox, I am very sorry for disappointing you.

This is fine, but absolutely nothing innovative to stand out in the huge sea of FNAF clone games.

Also the medals don't work for me.

Edit: Medals still broken

PixelThistle responds:

Alright, I'll try and see if I can fix the medals. Barely had time to upload this in the first place lol, so it'll be done later.
About the originality, yeah I know. Again, I made this 2 years ago. It's getting a remake though, in which I'm trying to work on the unoriginality of it all.

Fun game, but the existence of the 15 and 30 package medals makes me think I'm going about this very wrong, and I have no idea what it could be. That's super frustrating.

CaperCube responds:

to be fair, I MAY have to to lower the 30 point medal as I haven't even gotten it, lol

This game is fine if you're medal hunting, but not really fun otherwise.

Dropping objects seem basically random, so if you're having trouble getting 24 apples, just stand in one place. You have the same chance of getting an apple, health up, or spider, and eventually you'll win.

Estimate, they just sent me a request that I was participating in the project, I didn’t even know about it at all, and if this game received 0 from everyone, I wouldn’t even be surprised, I just hope that someone recognizes me

The base mechanics of the game seem fine. Movement acceleration is frustratingly slow, and the targeting takes kind of long to get used to. Overall, the biggest issue is that there's often unavoidable damage due to the placement of the monsters and where you enter new rooms, which is a HUGE no-no in roguelikes.

Edit: also, medals aren't working for me.

This is a cool twist on your escape game genre! Nice job!

selfdefiant responds:

Thanks!

This project (and all Tankmases) represents the culmination of what an amazing community of artists, game developers, and overall lovely people can do when they work together. Obviously it's not perfect, but we love you all despite that.

The Newgrounds community is what it is because of collaborations like this. Thank you for putting the time in to do this every year!

AlbeGian responds:

Thanks a lot, Mr. Guthrie!!! Have a nice year!

This is a fun game with a really cool art style, but I couldn't move up or down without also scrolling the page, which makes some encounters impossible. Fix that and this will be much better.

Edit: it's fixed!

Funkmachine responds:

Fixed now, please try again, ty for spotting, I have been using aswd for months.

Holy fuck this is infuriating. Good job.

One thing that is upsetting me that you might not have intended. Sometimes when I click and release my guy doesn't jump but I still need to wait for the cooldown. Maybe set a tiny minimum threshold for jumping before it actually registers a movement?

DroneInDanger responds:

I did get that issue while testing, thanks for the idea on how to fix it

They came for the dinosaurs, and I did not speak out, because I was not a dinosaur. They came for the giant robots, and I did not speak out, because I was not a giant robot. Then they came for the nerds. And I was screwed.
