Completely awful.

A Mario clone where you need to refresh the page if the shitty koopa sprite even gets close to an enemy sprite? This is terrible in every way.

Some notes on how to improve:

1. Fix the hitboxes. This is the most important part of making a hop-n-bop/platformer game.
2. Ditch the copycat mario sprites.
3. Learn actionscript so you can kick Scratch to the curb.

Hi

Thanks for the feedback. i'll try to improve on this even if you completely disliked it. This was really just a test. I should have never posted it but know I have learned from my mistakes.

I get the joke, but it's not very funny. Plus, all you did is make a static image oscillate on the screen. Overall, there is nothing good or worth saving about this animation.

Interesting take on the tired Geometry Dash genre. The hitboxes could be a little bigger, but you've got a fun little game here. Keep it up!

This looks interesting but I can't get the game to move past the main menu. Clicking on NEED HELP CLICK ME! brings me to another menu but that's the only working menu. I can't get the actual game to start.

Go to battle mode using arrow keys and press space key for some seconds

I love the graphics but the game is not fun at all. You've got the beginning of something great here, do something cool with it!

YeYeP1Xel responds:

I need your opinion on graphics, and the gameplay will be another:)

Really... not good.

The acceleration on falling bodies is way too low, and the coefficient of restitution for the stick men hitting the ground is way too high! Falling to the ground adds energy to the interaction! That's insane!

The only slightly accurate physics being shown here is the reflection angle, and that bugs out sometimes, too.

Targeting reticle is really buggy, particularly near the walls.

It's super buggy in its current state, but even if the bugs were fixed, it's too generic to be interesting. When I see "using the games physics in creative ways," I've come to expect a lot more than a few falling puzzles and exploding barrels. A lot of the levels are blatant carbon copies of each other. There isn't enough here to be worth playing for more than a few minutes. Some levels are slightly innovative, and then the next level is a complete copy of a previous puzzle.

Your highest priority should be fixing the collisions, because playing with it in its current state is just infuriating.

Playing through this was a really pleasant surprise after I'd seen the intentionally bland thumbnail.

Great work!

This is really cool, but you need to make it more obvious that you need to press "run" after every change. Otherwise, it looks like the sliders don't do anything.

Isn't this also called a Pythagoras tree?

ItsVolt responds:

i am not sure if it is called that

Is it impossible because getting the red block to the green block does absolutely nothing? I don't see any point to this game.

InvisibleMammal responds:

Dear GUTHRIE,
I don't believe that you actually made it to the end as it will give you instructions to redeem your $200 prize because I honestly think it is impossible.

Interesting take on the bullet hell genre! I liked the art style and the speed progression. It was a little difficult to understand the scoring system at first.

The medals didn't unlock for me, so I would look into that.

supervanz responds:

Thank you for playing my game!
I removed medals to investigate what's wrong.
I will re-enable it when it proved to be working.

They came for the dinosaurs, and I did not speak out, because I was not a dinosaur. They came for the giant robots, and I did not speak out, because I was not a giant robot. Then they came for the nerds. And I was screwed.
