They came for the dinosaurs, and I did not speak out, because I was not a dinosaur. They came for the giant robots, and I did not speak out, because I was not a giant robot. Then they came for the nerds. And I was screwed.

So I was wondering about these sigs. When I feel like it, I can get pretty creative with Photoshop. Just wondering which of these sigs are coolest.
It'd be nice to be specific.

I was only joking.

What I'd do, is just like... like... you know, like, you know what I mean, like...

Yeah, well lately my laptop has been overheating a lot. I found a temporary fix by propping up the back end about an inch or so, but that doesn't seem to do much when I'm getting my Half-Life 2 on. It really sucks because when I'm in the middle of the White Forest, killing the combines, my computer just shuts down and I can't turn it back on until I wait for it to cool off a bit.

Does anyone want to suggest some good alternative sources of cooling?

Ok, so.
I've been checking my bill online from the college I'm going to (Michigan Technological University) for a long time now, because the way I was paying for my tuition is different from just giving the school a check, and seeing that the tuition was still not paid for. I didn't think that there was anything wrong, and that it just took a long time to show up. Well, Monday I went to the Administration offices, specifically Accounts Receivable, and went to talk to some people up there. To say the least, they're not very nice or very helpful. I talked to two different people on Monday who told me that the school hasn't received anything at all from the institution that I'm paying through, and had they received anything, it would be a check. I called the institution when I got back to my dorm, and the Customer Service Rep (Laura - she's incredible. Really helpful and really nice) told me that everything that the school needed to send out an invoice was already sent a few weeks ago. I explained that the school told me that they didn't get anything and that made me kind of scared. I got a ton of info from Laura, but by the time I was done talking to her, Accounts Receivable had already closed for the day, so I had to go back the next morning. Tuesday morning, I went back and talked to another person. After I explained my situation to her, she told me that the school doesn't deal with my institution and that I can do everything myself if I want my money to get through. I did as much as I could from their office, faxed some stuff, and went back to my dorm to call the institution again. I got Laura again (apparently she's the only CSR) and after some conversation about what I can do, she called the administration office and talked to Joyce or something (she sucks) and that didn't do much good, other than help her understand what I've been dealing with. She said that she can send a check without the invoice if I tell her how many credit hours I'm taking (18). The only problem is that that money won't get here until 5 or 6 weeks, so I needed to get ahold of my mom or dad since the school would kick me out if they don't get their money by the 5th of September, and they'll drop all of my classes by the 29th of August. Dad wasn't a possibility because he was backpacking in the Porcupine Mountains with my little brother. My mom was hard to get because she's staying in a place with one phone for the whole place (Gogebic lodge) I called that and nobody picked up, so I waited a while and called back. The bartender picked up and went to the cottage to get my mom. Ten minutes later my mom picks up the phone and shes like "what's the deal?" I say "the school won't take my money" and she's like "ok, we'll be there after we pick up you dad and brother". When they got here, my dad was all over it. Hes paying for tuition until my money goes through (I'll pay him back) and we went up to Accounts Receivable to make fun of Joyce or whatever her name is. Everything's taken care of, and I just need to buy my books to be all set.

I just don't know what book my chem class needs.

Thank you, and good night.
